2021‌ ‌Volkswagen‌ ‌Atlas‌ ‌near‌ ‌Las‌ ‌Cruces‌ ‌NM‌ ‌is‌ ‌Comfortable‌ ‌and‌ ‌Spacious‌

March 1st, 2021 by

Thanks to excellent engineering and packaging, the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas near Las Cruces NM is a comfortable and exceptionally spacious eight passenger family vehicle with plenty of elbowroom.

Even though the exterior of the Atlas isn’t much bigger than a Subaru Ascent, the interior manages to have 10 cubic feet more cargo volume and several more inches of legroom in the rear seating area than the Subaru. How can this be? It’s because of first rate engineering and packaging!

2021 Volkswagen Atlas near Las Cruces NM: Trims

Before getting into the unique features of the newly refreshed Atlas, know that it comes in several different trims, making it easier than ever to find one that is perfect for you. As the MSRP increases, each version offers more options than the preceding one. Each trim level offers available features that get better progressively, making the VW Atlas an outstanding choice for a new family hauler. The available trims for the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas are as follows, with starting prices at each level:

  • S (base) – $32,565

  • SE – $35,915

  • SE R-Line – $40,715

  • SEL – $43,315

  • SEL R-Line – $45,015

  • SEL Premium – $$48,215

One of the best features of the Atlas is the second row seating. Why? Because the backrests of the seats tilt to the rear up to 14 inches, and that same row also slides forward and back a bit more than 7 ½ inches, thus making it much more comfortable for those in the way back third row, and more comfy for tall passengers in the second row. Can you believe the design even allows for second row seats to slide forward and tilt with a child car seat strapped in place? And you can fit three car seats on the second row! If only all carmakers put that much consideration into their designs!

If you like the sporty look, the R-Line trim is an option for the SE and SEL models of the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas near Las Cruces NM. It adds exclusive 20-inch wheels, badging, side skirts, bumpers, and many more amenities. There’s still 96.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the second and third seats folded down as well!

The SE trim comes standard with a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a middle armrest with integrated cupholders for the second row, along with many other features. But if you move up to the SEL, you get all that, as well as leather seating, in-car WiFi that allows four devices to simultaneously connect, and the capability to set the digital driver display to three different profiles (including safety and driver assist settings and seat position). You’ll also get more safety and driver assist technology with the SEL trim.

No matter if your budget only allows for the SE, you’ll retain access to Volkswagen’s CarNet infotainment system. CarNet gives you remote start, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and lets you send a destination you’ve searched for to your Atlas’s navigation system. For your teenager(s) who’s beginning to drive, you can set curfews, maximum speeds, and driving location perimeters (geofencing).

What’s more, if you need to tow a trailer or boat, the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas near Las Cruces NM can accommodate up to 5,000 lbs when properly equipped. And new this year for the VW Atlas is the availability of VW’s 4Motion AWD system across all trim levels.

The Atlas is an all-around great SUV, but you need to come on over to Fiesta Volkswagen at 8201 Lomas Blvd in Albuquerque to experience it yourself. You’ll be really glad you did!
